Release 4.0 Build 3455
Released on Aug 27, 2025 and includes the following:
This release introduces the new “Record Detail View”, which lets you bring all key information about a record together on a single page.
New feature
- You can now create a Record Detail View that brings all the details of a record onto a single page. This feature supports use cases such as case management, where a case manager may need to review beneficiary records along with related subrecords, such as interventions, alongside key information like name, date of birth, and other details. You can add direct navigation to related subrecords or reference records, which can open another detail view with critical information about the related intervention, for instance.
- You can create a record detail view from the view display selection screen.
Record detail views can have multiple components to suit your use case and workflow, all drawing from your existing form design. In this release, the following components are available:
Header: static text, or dynamic text including field values
Field List: choose which fields to display prominently
Calculated Table: a table derived from calculated data, useful for combining, summarising, or transforming subforms or related records
Navigation: navigate to related subforms, referencing forms, or directly to subrecords or reference records
- In the record list, you can easily switch between records. You can search the list for a record in your form, choose how to label records, and choose how to sort records, for rapid selection.
- A record detail view can be saved as a personal view, shared with others, or set as the default view on a form.
